Pastor and General Overseer of Zion International Christian Church, Idah, Kogi State, Pastor Kingsley may have landed trouble for his alleged uncontrolled sexual appetite
The pastor was alleged to have slept with one Mary, daughter of his sunday school teacher on the pretext that the lady was possessed with demons which could only be exorcised through sex. The clerk was said to have had carnal knowledge of the 18-year old girl
According to the state Commissioner of Police, Seidu Madawaki who paraded the suspect before newsmen, the bubble burst for Pastor Kingsley when his attempt to abort the pregnancy was refused by the victim.
“ After impregnating the girl, he attempted to abort the pregnancy by giving her some liquid substances mixed with olive oil which she refused to drink”, he said.
Speaking with Crime Watch, the victim said she came to join her parent from the village around November last year when the pastor spotted her in the church on the pretext that she had ‘a wild demonic spirit’ in her and then ordered her to see him after the church service for deliverance.
Frightened, she said she went to meet the pastor immediately after the service. “He told me that my waist and private parts have been ravaged by demons and until deliverance was carried out, I may not be able to have any child in life. “ The Man of God’ frightened me and said he would only cast out the demons from me through sexual intercourse but he warned me not to tell anybody on the mode of deliverance.
“After praying into an olive oil, he asked me to undress while he rubsed my waist and private parts with the anointing oil mixed with some substances , he then undressed himself and used the same oil on his private part before he descended on me and started to do the thing.”
“But I discovered that I was pregnant last week when my mother noticed my conduct and I had to reveal everything to her even though he warned me not to tell anybody,” She revealed.
However, the 37-year old pastor denied the allegation saying, that all he did was to cast out the demons in her, using the anointing oil
He said that some church members who were envious of his spiritual rise were the one who ganged up against him because his ministry was experiencing ‘exponential growth’
The CP warned parents to put more attention on their female children even in religious centres, saying there are many fake pastors outside there.

FIFA Rankings Update: Super Eagles in a Free Fall
The Super Eagles lost four places, go down 37th to 41st position.

The African Champions are now only the seventh team on the African continent. Aside Ivory Coast, Ghana and Algeria who were previously ranked above Nigeria, Mali in 40th position, Cape Verde 35th and Egypt in 30th have now all overtaken the Super Eagles.
The 'freefall' for the Super Eagles started in November 2013 when they dropped from 33rdposition to 36th. They further went a step down to 37th spot in December 2013, before tumbling to 41st in the January 2014 rankings just released.
Overall, there have been very few changes to the first edition of the rankings in 2014, with football having come to a halt in many places over the New Year period.
Only 18 friendly matches were considered since December's edition, five of which took place in 2013, with the remaining 13 in the first half of January 2014.
There was no movement in the top 25, with Spain still holding a comfortable lead over Germany and Argentina.
Next time the ranking will be updated on February 13, 2014, after CHAN 2014 is over.

Major-General Kenneth Tobiah Jacob Minimah takes over from Lt.-General Azubike O. Ihejirika as Chief of Army Staff;
Rear Admiral Usman O. Jibrin takes over from Vice Admiral Dele Joseph Ezeoba as Chief of Naval Staff; and Air Vice Marshal Adesola Nunayon Amosu takes over from Air Marshal Badeh as Chief of Air Staff.
All the changes are with immediate effect.

Dozens arrrested in Northern Nigeria as anti-gay law comes into force

Dozens of gay men are reported to have been arrested across northern Nigeria as police begin to enforce punitive new laws that criminalize same-sex marriages and membership of gay rights organizations.
Dorothy Aken'Ova, executive director of the country's International Centre for Reproductive Health and Sexual Rights, said that the legislation, hailed the "Jail the Gays" law, had led to mass arrests. Police in Bauchi state, she claimed, had a list of 168 purportedly gay men, of whom 38 had been arrested.
The laws, she cautioned, will endanger medical programmes combating HIV-Aids in the gay community. Nigeria has the second-largest HIV epidemic globally with an estimated 3.4 million people living with HIV.
Responding to the spread of anti-gay legislation,Kerry said: "The United States is deeply concerned by Nigeria's enactment of the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act. Beyond even prohibiting same-sex marriage, this law dangerously restricts freedom of assembly, association and expression for all Nigerians.
"[The law] is inconsistent with Nigeria's international legal obligations and undermines the democratic reforms and human rights protections enshrined in its 1999 constitution," he added.
"People everywhere deserve to live in freedom and equality. No one should face violence or discrimination for who they are or who they love."
The London-based Human Dignity Trust, which supports legal actions around the world aimed at overturning anti-gay legislation, criticised both the Nigerian and Ugandan acts.
Jonathan Cooper, the trust's chief executive, has described the Ugandan legislation as "a bleak day for human rights. The bill undermines Uganda's human rights protection, breaches its international treaty obligations and violates Uganda's own constitution".
One of the men whose legal challenges the trust supported, Roger Jean-Claude Mbede, 34, died this week after being removed from hospital by his family. He had been jailed in Cameroon for sending a text message to another man saying: "I'm very much in love with you".
Mbede, whose case was highlighted by the Guardian in 2012,was subsequently declared a prisoner of conscience by Amnesty International.
His lawyer, Alice Nkom, said [Mbede's] family said he was a curse for them and that we should let him die.

Even cotonou, Ghana, Liberia, Afghanistan, Gambia, Egypt, Togo etc. The reason is that if you see where a woman is giving birth abroad, even as a man, you will feel like getting pregnant. For only one woman in Labour, you will see an obstetrician, a gynaecologist, a general surgeon, a specialist surgeon, an anaesthetist, a registered nurse midwife, registered nurses, social welfare officer and so on. And they pet women in labour. That is why it is called delivery room over there. But in Nigeria it is called Labour room. And if you see what women go through here, you will agree that it should also be called confession and trial room. Nigerian nurses make pregnancy look like a criminal offence. And the worse thing is that they are everywhere. Both private and government hospitals. For instance, when a woman who is in Labour is brought to the hospital, they will throw her into the labour room and lock her up like a criminal awaiting trial. And they will go to the reception and be gossiping. Or go into the Dr.'S office and be (totori-ing). Until d woman will start shouting like a goat. And when they go to meet her is not to help her but to abuse her. You hear things like na me do you? The man wey do you no dey here o" " madam push o! Abi u wan kill your pikin? You better push now or I go leave you here o! Then the next thing is to report to Matron. Those matrons with extra extra large buttocks. You know if you don't have such an extra ordinarily extended pelvic protuberance (a.k.a. Big Nyash), you cannot be a matron. Those matrons only have two jobs. Sitting down in one place for hours or slapping women in Labour. So when the matron is called, the next thing she does is to slap the woman in Labour. And the baby will jump out with anger. And this practice pains me a lot, because if you know how painful labour pain is, you will wonder why a woman can be slapping or shouting at a fellow woman in such situation. If you had had tooth ache before or Whitlow, these two combined is not up to labour pain. Is that what a woman will be going through and her fellow woman will be slapping her? Like I said earlier, these matrons only come to the hospital to sit down. And when they manage to get up, check their seat. It used to be up to 100 degrees centigrade. That's why some junior nurses do bring cold water in a flask. Once matron gets up, they will place their flask on the seat. And within seconds, the water will boil and they use it for tea. Because of the way Nigerian nurses treat women in labour, you hear this women confessing all their sins during labour. And you even hear them saying things like after this one, I no go try am again o! I no go do again o" as if they have committed a serious offence. Please Nigeria Nurses, I beg of you, try and change so that our women will not be running abroad to go and have their babies pls.
